Privacy Policy

The Blucher Law Group, PLLC Respects Your Privacy.

Blucher Law Group, PLLC  is committed to privacy and confidentiality. This Privacy Policy describes the information the Firm receives from inquiries received through the Firm’s website FifthAmendment.com.

We respect the privacy concerns of the users of this website and have created this privacy policy to explain (1) what information we gather from you when you visit our site, (2) how we may use such information, (3) your choices concerning how we may use such information and (4) the security measures we take to protect such information. Some information is collected on this site automatically through our technology; other information is collected only when you choose to give it to us (e.g., when you purchase our services or sign up for a specific online transaction).

Information We Gather Automatically
When you visit this site, certain non-personally identifying information is recorded automatically by the standard operation of our Internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (a number that your Internet service provider assigns to your computer whenever you surf the Internet) is gathered in order to facilitate our online operations and to assure an efficient online experience for you. We may also use or share this information for security purposes, to generate group statistics about our user community, or as required by law.

Personal Information You Provide To Us
We may use the information collected from you when you sign up for our emails, or respond to a questionnaire or surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To send periodic emails regarding events, products, or services.
  • To follow up correspondence such as comments or email inquiries.

We may request personally identifying information from you in a variety of contexts. For example, you may provide such data to us if you: (1) purchase any products or services from fifthamendment.com; (2) fill out an order form to request information; (3) register to participate in community features; or (4) complete an online registration form (e.g., various sign-up forms for receiving email newsletters, registering for special offers, registering for an account, entering a contest or responding to a survey).

In such cases, the personally identifying information we request may include your name and email address. Of course, you never have to answer any of the questions we ask you or otherwise interact with our site.

How Can Your Personal Information Be Used?

Within FifthAmendment.com

We may use your personal information and other non-personally-identifying information when we update you about the newest book or article on fifthamendment.com. You always have the option to receive fewer or no communications in the future from us by opting out. Safeguarding Your Personal Information
fifthamendment.com cares about the security of your Personal Information. We follow generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use such Personal Information.

Cookies

Use of ‘cookies’

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For example, they identify if you’ve already visited the site within a certain time period to prevent pop-up opt-in forms from showing too frequently. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity and to provide you with an improved user experience on this site. We also use cookies to aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction, again to offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie

We use two different kinds of cookies on this website: First-party and third-party cookies (both defined in detail on the Wikipedia link above).

First-party cookies

Third-party cookies
This website sets different types of third-party cookies to track usage, social sharing and more. These cookies are not under my/our control, and serve to help us understand the visitors who come to the website, as well as support our connection to other third-party sites. As a user of this (or any) website, you can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of some or all cookies. Additional data storage and privacy policy considerations
Information and informational items are provided in exchange for adding your email address and possibly your name, business, and or website information to one of our mailing lists. All mailing lists are stored and executed via MAILCHIMP for the sole purpose of communicating information, as well as occasional marketing of services and products. Each mailing list will specifically detail what type of emails you may receive and possibly the frequency. You may unsubscribe from the said email list(s) at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in every email.

Email marketing messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list.  ADDITIONAL:

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited that other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

When visitors leave comments on the site, the data collection form collects the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
